Question from a friend last night: Why isn’t ❤️ easier? My answer: Maybe it’s not easy because none of us is really easy…but we’re worth it. Lately, when I see stuff that seems like someone else’s problems or struggles or even demons, I turn it back to me, and ask myself: How can I use these feelings that are stirred up in me to go to a deeper level of self-love and self-compassion? How can I use this to understand myself better?
It seems counter-intuitive sometimes but it really works. Then I come back into relationships with a whole new perspective and a lot more compassion.
